As an Independent Contractor, it is your responsibility to track your shopper pay and pay taxes on that amount. The majority of shopping companies do not send out a W-2 or T4. Did you know you can claim portions of your mileage, computer, phone, electricity, and many more deductions if you work out of your home? As tax laws vary from state to state or province to province, it is important to review the tax laws and even seek the advice of an accountant. You could have deductions you didn't even know about!

"When Will I Get Paid?" (from AboutFace™) Launches!

Beginning today, shoppers who completed shops for AboutFace™ since the beginning of 2008 can find out when they are due to be paid online and on-demand!

We are pleased to introduce our new shopper service, "When Will I Get Paid?" which was launched on our web site today. To view your shopper pay records online, all you need is your email address and zip code which are on file with AboutFace™.




In addition to the shop and location name, base pay and bonus information and the dates the shops were completed and published, an estimated pay date will be displayed as well. If your pay date is past due, it shows up in red and you can email the payables department about it right from the site.
