It's the day of your shop and your child woke with a fever? Or you realized you wrote the wrong shop date on your calendar AFTER receiving an overdue email? Just as shoppers have deadlines to meet, schedulers have deadlines too. Here are a few things to remember when it comes to rescheduling or missed shops:
1. Shops can be rescheduled, especially if it's not near the end of the month. Emailing the scheduler with a new date to do the shop can be acceptable, but it should be within a day or two of the original shop date.
2. As hectic as these little emergencies can be, we at the other end of the emails don't know what it happening unless you tell us. To make sure your shopper status stays in good standing, please be sure to email or call the scheduler. Please reply to all emails or phone messages. We know life happens; it happens to us too!
3. If you don't think you will be able to do the shop on the day selected, please don't wait until the date has passed to let your scheduler know. This only causes deadlines to be missed for the client which could result in less work for shoppers to do!
4. Communication is KEY! No communication means no pay or new shops coming your way!
